Discount for online payment of bills

1. BSNL has decided to offer discount at the rate of 1 per cent on the value of the bill, excluding service tax and late fee, subject to a maximum of Rs 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) per bill to customers who choose to pay their telephone/postpaid cellular bills through the Internet services of banks, BSNL Portal, www.billdesk.com or www.visabillpay.com.  

2. The discount will be allowed only when the payment is received in full on or before due date and when no other discount is offered for timely payment. The adjustment of the discount has to be made in the customers’ next bill on an ex-post-facto basis.

3. Discount scheme will also be applicable to all payments made through M/s Indiaideas.Com.Ltd ( Billdesk), either directly through their Web site or through BSNL Portal by bank account based payment or credit/debit card.
