BSNL- AP launches e-Pin service


Excel (CellOne pre-paid) subscribers can now recharge their connections at all Andhra Bank ATMs in Andhra Pradesh and at Ap Online outlets. BSNL - AP in association with Mssrs. Oxigen, has developed this e-Pin solution, through which all the CellOne (pre-paid) subscribers in Andhra Pradesh and the CellOne subscribers visiting AP can recharge their connections online.


Inaugurating e-Pin service, Shri C. Sanjaya Kumar, Chief General Manager, AP Telecom said that this was one more step towards customer friendly service offered by BSNL. "More over we are trying to meet the theme selected for this year's World Telecom Day," said he. International Telecom Union had selected this year's theme as "Creating an Equitable information Society: Time for Action" "There is a sudden focus on the Right to Information. And I guess, BSNL plays a major role in making it possible. BSNL has maximum rural presence and can spread the information more efficiently than any other service provider," he said.

In addition to the e-Pin service, BSNL AP also inaugurated a 3-day exhibition featuring all the services offered by the BSNL. The exhibition is called "BSNL Utsav", and is held at Asman Mahal, Lakdi-ka-Pul, Hyderabad.


Speaking on the occasion, Shri PSR Krishna PGM - HTD, said that unlike the other service operators, BSNL prides in their dedication to acheive complete rural connectivity. He also announced the launch of Phone-on-Phone offer for the twin city customers. Availing this offer, the Bfone customers can book for a new phone connection on phone and the rest would be taken care of by the BSNL staff.
